Why NOW is the time to work on presentations.

The world and our businesses have suddenly changed.  It’s natural to worry how the current conditions will affect  everyday life and how we will move on from here.

However, I have the intention to stay positive. I don’t lose time on my daily commute, nor have to bike to work while it’s raining cats and dogs. Some extra time to get things started, our clients and the rest of the world are in the same boat.

Plenty of opportunities. That’s how I choose. This is not a time to postpone meetings and presentations. Rather, this is a time to rethink your processes and take your presentations online. One thing you can certainly do is start working on your future presentations today, build something great that jumps off the screen in a digital environment.  As more and more businesses transition to presenting online, it's important to plan ahead, stay ahead of the curve and stand out.

We are extremely  fortunate to live in an age where technology has become so sophisticated and readily available that we can practically work from our homes with little to no effect on our day to day business. For those who work in office environments, there are many tools that can help get our work done online efficiently and effectively. That said I don’t want to brush the wider economic challenges under the rug, it is a clear different story for those in consumer facing industries like retail and hospitality, who will have a much harder time navigating the situation.

Thinking about the work we do at Mr.Prezident, no doubt people could lose some human connection when not able to meet face to face. But virtual meetings with webcams also allow us to get some sense of reactions and feeling, which is an important aspect of deal making. On the flip side it could also offer some anonymity to those who are shy to speak up and share ideas in large social format.

If you do insist on riding this thing out and presenting in person: Make sure you have that presentation ready for the moment when everything gets back to normal. Think of a strategy to distinguish yourself from your competitor. Get yourself the right tools, words and visuals to make a great comeback.

We experience that our clients struggle with deadlines for presentations all year round.  Last minute presentations, total redesigns, or rewriting the entire story in just two short weeks. But why wait if you already know you have that pitch or quarterly presentation just around the corner? Try and see the opportunities of these difficult times. Finetune your sales presentation, your corporate story, or take the whole design to the next level! Now is the time.

Stay safe, hope to speak to you soon.
