And the winner is...
The word is out! We won the mother of all Prezi Awards this week! We are very proud that our presentation for the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre has been crowned winner in the category ‘Best Overall Design’. This presentation is based on complex content from scientific research. The goal was to make the data comprehensible for everyone.
It’s not the first time we have been awarded for our efforts in such a great way. We also won this award in 2014, and in 2015 we won the Prezi Best Educational Design Award.
Making ideas accessible to anyone
Prezi stated: “This beautiful presentation exemplifies why we created Prezi in the first place—making ideas accessible to anyone. See how Mr.Prezident uses visual storytelling to explain complex atmospheric science.”'
From complex content to clear dataviz
Our senior designer Dolf commented: “For this case, we had to go back to basics, it was quite a challenge to make the complex content comprehensible for everyone, not just scientists
We swapped intricate graphs for clear data visualization and tried to keep everything within the same look and feel. We’re very proud this presentation has received a Prezi Award and that we have been able to distinguish ourselves from the strong international competition.”
We’re over the moon that this presentation has won Best Overall Design and are thrilled to design more stories in 2018!
